The Dead Sea King conjures a Maelstrom that sucks all his enemies in for damage.

[Strategy]
Cooperative play or a High Level team is recommended in this battle. Initiate Holy Guard on your front liners to prevent the Clawed Guards from using Blaze Sword on them. Try to punch a whole on the Dead Sea King's front line by concentrating your attack on a single monster, then try to unleash Freezing Axe (if you have Viking) on the 2nd row to disable the powerful Sea King's Royal Guards. If you don't have Viking, then you need to endure the royal guards attack. Note that the Dead Sea King is invulnerable to stun or freezing attacks, there's no way to halt him other than kill him. Try to eliminate the Dead Sea King's underlings first so to make the battle easier. Do not rush in to kill the leader or they may kill you first with their combined attack.

[Additional Information]
The Dead Sea King is a huge boss, a reincarnated king of the Sea Palace. It was not known whether this was the Fake Sea King or an ancient one. Nevertheless, he's extremely powerful and he can create a maelstrom (Great Vortex) to damage all the units in an enemy party.

Cooperative party play may be necessary to beat this boss as he is sometimes reinforced by another Chief Bae Hoon. Your chances of beating this boss could improve if you try to cripple the main man with the Freezing Axe. Send all your mercs on one Bandit found on either side of Bae Hoon's team. Once that bandit is down, you may be able to freely freeze the third row. Attack the remaining active bandits with all you've got, but try to always freeze the third row whenever possible. This will prevent Bae Hoon from unleashing his destructive combo.

The boss of the Bandits. This enemy is very strong and he does not fall down easily, he also wields a double end spear that permits him to strike all his enemies in the same row, but the most irritating part while fighting this boss is that he is often backed by his minions.

Anyway, they are just distractions. Your real aim is the entrance to the Sea King's Chamber, which is of course, guarded by a powerful foe.

The Sea King's Palace was in fact a beautiful city on the ocean floor, surrounded by fine, bright, ivory-colored sand. Sunlight streaming into the place through the clear ocean water provided the palace's sea-swimming inhabitants, who wore beautiful Oriental-style clothing and accessories, an ethereal atmosphere. But this all changed when the apostles of darkness took control and converted the palace into a base for sea monsters to advance and attack enemies on land. The monsters were also equipped with a device that allowed land creatures to move freely within the sea's waters. The damage done to the Sea King's Palace was one of the most tragic outcomes to result from the reorganization between light and darkness.

[Strategy]
The Sea King's battle formation is solid and it's hard to sneak in a Freezing Axe into its core units. You should be strong enough before engaging this boss, otherwise, you are more likely to fail. However, you may try to Silence or kill the Crab Warrior first, as this annoying monster could cast Acid Bubble, a spell that could poison and slow down your characters. Once the front line monsters fall, freeze the second line, and try to punch a hole in the formation while enduring all the punishment the Sea King and his active allies throw at you. Once a hole is made, sneak in the Freezing Axe to paralyze Sea King and his two minions. Now go for the kill!

[Additional Information]
The Main Boss of the Sea Palace. This Sea King is actually a fake, an impersonator who wants to rule the Palace. It packs some punch and is capable of conjuring a massive water vortex that causes strong water damage. It can also hit any unit in the battle field.

Upon looking at King's Bodyguard's formation, you'll immediately spot the weaker side. Focus your attack on that weak spot and try to throw in a Freezing Axe attack to paralyze the King's Bodyguard and his two annoying allies. By doing this, you not only cripple their ability to do big damage, but you prevent them from reviving their comrades as well. Move in to kill the active monsters as fast as you can before the Freezing special wears out.

[Additional Information]
A Large Dragon that guards the Sea King by blocking the entrance to Sea King's Chamber. It seems that it has the ability to conjure great water vortexes that can swallow its enemies in for damage, however, it usually does the regular bubble attack that can hit any unit in the battle field.

Shadow Witch is an exact copy of Xiyu Shaman, however, her team are made up of stronger monsters and her formation's defense is more solid. The best way to deal with her is to first gain a few levels, and upgrade some equipments, enough to sustain her army. Try to weaken the front by concentrating your attack into one monster, once you leak the front defense, pour in Viking's Freezing Axe to freeze the second row. Once you achieve this, eliminate his frontliners as fast as you can and make sure to pick them up to prevent them from resurrecting. With the front eliminated, try to breach the second row and sneak in Viking's Freezing Axe, this time, to the third row. Once Shadow Witch sustains damage, she will refrain from attack and keep on healing herself, a faulty move that you can use to your advantage.

Xiyu Shaman can be tough with her powerful magic attack - the Lightning Bolt. This magic can severely damage a mercenary, most especially the Viking. She can be a true nightmare for every newbie players. But, if you carefully observe her formation, you'll notice that her party is weak at the sides. If you can nail at least one of the side Headless Punisher guards, you may be able to sneak the Viking's Freezing Axe straight into the third row, paralyzing the Xiyu Shaman and her two cohorts. This will give you enough time to pull in a massive offensive at the active monsters. Also note that once Xiyu Shaman receives sufficient damage, she'll continuously heal herself. This is actually one of your advantages, as you can prevent her from making an offensive.

[Additional Information]
The final boss of the Ruins of the Yellow River, and was actually the friend of NPC Sul Hyang. This boss has the ability to shoot powerful Lightning Bolts, and cast a healing spell.

This boss can be a pain if you engage it while you're still low at level. However, the suggested strategy here is to attack through the sides. [Strategy]
The Hellish Fairy is not easy. You need to be thoroughly equipped and high enough in level for you to beat her. While fighting her, try to eliminate the Hell Warriors first, then make sure you pick their remains, otherwise, the Hell Soldiers will simply Resurrect them. If you have the Archer mercenary, do cast Silence on Hellish Fairy to prevent her from conjuring the dreaded Dark Flame Sphere, that does massive damage to your entire party.

[Additional Information]
The Big Boss of the Forest of Spirits and can only be encountered in a solo quest. This Fairy is accompanied by other monsters during battle. Dark Flame Sphere is its special, it is more destructive than the Evil Sky Spirit's Flame Sphere. Use Silence if you have to prevent her from casting the lethal spell.

[Strategy]
This is a random mini-boss so there is no exact strategy to pull out, that is, since its party varies. While fighting, you may however use Monk's Awaken on front row mercenaries more frequently as this monster is capable of causing a 3 merc stun. Freeze/Stun don't affect this monster, so save it for its vulnerable companions. Melee mercs are effective against it so make them attack this boss. Do not concentrate your attack on this fiend alone though, spread your attack and also try to eliminate the accompanying mob to prevent yourself from getting ganged up. Make sure to cast Holy Guard on your front to shield them from the mob's specials too.

[Additional Information]
It looks like a huge Mummy Magician, but without the magic skill. It relies on brute force and is capable of hitting all your mercenaries in the same row. It randomly appears among the mobs of Red Machine Shrine, Purple Machine Shrine, and Blue Machine Shrine. It uses a giant staff to whack its enemies. This Mini-boss does not fall so easily, and is immune to Freeze and Stun.

To beat this Mini-boss, you may try to eliminate his ally Hell Warriors first, by launching an attack from the sides, killing the Hell Soldiers in the process. This way, you can prevent massive damage cause by the Flame Sword they initiate. Remember to pick the fallen enemies too as the Hell Soldiers can revive them. Better yet, if you have the Silence spell, try to block the third row monsters. One last thing, never put your main character in front, as sometimes, A.I. picks it up as candidate for the Flame Sword combo.

[Additional Information]
The larger version of the Hell Warrior. This fiend, due to its enormous size is the strongest among the Hell Cavalries. It attacks similarly to a Hell Warrior, but is more durable. The Northeast Asia location of this monster is inaccessible.
